It's time, once again, for Oktoberfest in Miami

Oktoberfest in Miami, one of the top fall events, is a beer lover’s paradise.

Nothing says Fall quite like Octoberfest in Miami. With a variety of celebrations and festivities, there’s something for everyone.

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s Oktoberfest celebration, which takes place on October 5th, 2018 at their Botanical Biergarten, will feature many of South Florida’s top craft breweries, live music and delicious food. Admission is $45 and includes unlimited beer and a complimentary sampling glass.

Sam Adams Octoberfest

Wynwood’s Octoberfest is one of the best events of the year. The three-day festival, which will takes place from October 28th through October 30th, 2018, features live music and entertainment, an artisan market, beer games and, of course, delicious seasonal brews. Some of the fun beer games, which Sam Adams dubbs the Brewlympics, include giant beer pong, giant jenga, raise the stein and corn hole. The 9th annual folk festival is free to attend, but you can purchase a beer pack for $8 that includes free beer, a beer stein and a bavarian hat, as well.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Miami

Miami’s Hispanic Heritage Month is a celebration of the strong Hispanic ties to the community.

The influence of the Hispanic community on Miami culture is undeniable. From September 15th through October 15th, the city pays homage to the Hispanic people and their contributions, offering a great variety of events and fun things to do. It’s a month-long celebration unlike any other.

South Florida Craft Beer Run

If you consider yourself a beer lover who enjoys running, or at least enough to sweat out some of those suds, the South Florida Craft Beer Run has your name written all over it. With 450 participants, last year’s inaugural event was a hit, with the 2nd annual event proving to be bigger and better with even more top Miami breweries getting involved and post-race festivity fun. If you run one fun race this fall, this is it.

The race will take place on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Miami’s Tank Brewing Co. at 5100 NW 72nd Ave. Your registration fee includes a t-shirt, medal and tasty complimentary brew.

Participating Breweries and Festivities

This year’s race features a long list of great participating breweries, including Tank Brewing Co., Funky Buddha Brewing, Wynwood Brewing, Miami Brewing Co., Swamp Head Brewery and Cigar City Brewing Co. Post-race festivities will include tasty eats, live music, cigars, games and craft beer.

Charitable Cause

This year’s Miami beer run will support a couple of good causes - Nico’s Promise and Sebastian Strong. Nico’s Promise provides ongoing support for those who have suffered the loss of a loved one at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Sebastian Strong raises awareness and funds for research to find a cure for childhood cancer.
