Get your taste of Miami’s new tradition, the South Beach Mango Festival.

Every month, locals and visitors alike come together to celebrate Miami’s unique culture at a variety of festivals and events. On August 5th, 2018, you can take part in South Florida’s newest celebration, the South Beach Mango Festival, which will take place at South Beach’s Lummus Park during the peak of Miami’s delicious mango season.

As you can expect, there will be plenty of opportunities to treat your taste buds. Attendees can stroll through a farmers’ market boasting more than 40 varieties of locally farmed mangoes, along with other tropical produce, including avocados, coconuts, and dragon fruit. There will also be farm-to-table mango dishes from local restaurants, mango smoothie-making and tasting stations available.

Activities

The inaugural one-day event, which is part of the Miami Spice festivities, will feature a mix of fun activities that can be enjoyed by all ages. Adults can take part in interactive mango cooking classes, and check out demos from some of Miami’s top chefs, a mixology competition, and a baked mango recipe contest. There will also be a kids cooking class, kids mango eating contest, live music and a bounce house. A portion of the festival’s proceeds will benefit the non-profit philanthropic organization, Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
