The spookiest holiday of the year is just a few weeks away! If you’re looking to dress up and explore Miami this Halloween, get your costume ready to party and hang out with some exotic animals. These Halloween events in Miami are sure to be both spooky and exciting!
Halloween Sundowner at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens | October 29th
Get ready to dance the night away at one of the largest Halloween parties in Miami! This year’s event has a 1920s twist with a Prohibition era theme. Dress the part or come up with your own creative costume idea and you may just win a prize at the costume contest. At Sundowner, you’ll enjoy live music, five full bars, and dancing along the Biscayne Bay. Proceeds will help with the preservation of one of Miami’s most notable estates.
Nightmare on the Beach at Lummus Park | October 29th
Head over the bridge to Miami Beach for a Halloween party on the beach! Find the perfect costume to match the theme for Nightmare on the Beach: Dia de Los Muertos, where you’ll dance until the early morning and enjoy top shelf liquor. The kids aren’t left out of this one; earlier in the day, they can head to Lummus Park for the Children’s Parade with trick-or-treating, games, crafts, and more. Proceeds benefit The Little Lighthouse Foundation.
Spooktober at Zoo Miami | Select Dates October 15th – 31st
Every October, Zoo Miami offers over 15 days of thrills and frights with your favorite animals! On weekends from October 15th – 30th, enter Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House if you dare – a haunted house with creepy horror scenes. On October 21st, it’s all about the adults for a grown ups-only Monster Masquerade. Bring the kids in costume on October 29th and 30th for Zoo Boo, where the kids can trick-or-treat and watch the animals get their holiday-themed treats. This year, Spooky Zoo Nights are “more haunting than ever” on October, 28th, 29th, and 31st! Scare zones, terrifying carnival and tram rides, and eerie performances are just a few things you can enjoy.
