Miami International Film Festival (MIFF) beginning at the Olympia Theater in Miami has announced the films selected to screen during its annual 10-day event, which will be held March 7-16, 2014. This year’s festival, will premiere 92 feature films and 28 short films from 38 countries, participating in competition and non-competition categories.
Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, is a historic landmark and the perfect location for screening some of the amazing cinematic performances in true old-world Hollywood style. Films will also be shown at the Paragon Grove, O Cinema, Regal South Beach Cinemas, Miami Beach Cinematheque and Coral Gables Art Cinema. Special event venues include Freedom Tower at Miami Dade College, The Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building, and New World Center.
The Miami International Film Festival is often a star-studded event and has attracted many famous faces over the years including Candice Bergen, Kevin Kline, Demi Moore, Michael Caine, Antonio Banderas, William Macy and more.
Tickets to the 2014 MIFF will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 14th.
