America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park
The biggest Independence Day event in Miami goes down every year in Bayfront Park. If you’re looking to see some of the best fireworks in Miami, you’ll want to join Budweiser for America’s Birthday Bash. With things kick off in the afternoon, there’s plenty of fun to be had for all ages. Kids will enjoy free activities in the Family Fun Zone and adults will love the Budweiser Beer Garden and live music performance leading up to the fireworks show. The park opens at 10 AM, with festivities beginning at 2 PM.

Coconut Grove 4th of July Picnic & Fireworks Celebration
Coconut Grove is all about good, old-fashioned, family fun on Independence Day. Pack up your picnic basket and blanket and head to Peacock Park and spend the evening lounging in the grass. There’s face painting, music, games, and more to enjoy before the fireworks finale. The celebration’s taking place from 6 – 9:30 PM.

Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade
Crandon Boulevard on Key Biscayne will be bursting with red, white, and blue pride the morning of the 4th of July. Bands, floats, and local organizations are all a part of the action at the Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade beginning at 11 AM. Around 9 PM, look to the night sky for a fireworks show.

After four years of hard work, one of Miami’s most well-loved museums will re-open in its new home here in Downtown Miami. In Miami’s Museum Park, you’ll now find one of the most incredible science museums in the world. If you’re curious about science, get ready to be amazed when the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science opens in just a few days!

On Monday, May 8th, the new Frost Science will open its doors officially for its grand opening. Visitors can look forward to exploring exhibits on water, the Everglades, lasers, flight, and more. One of the most incredible features of the museum is the three level aquarium showcasing the ecosystems of South Florida. What makes Frost Science so unique is that in addition to its aquarium, it also features a unique, state-of-the-art spherical planetarium with nearly 360-degree views.

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is opening just in time for Miami Museum Month. In addition to grand opening festivities and Member Night, there will be several events to enjoy. Beginning in June, First Fridays at Frost Science return, where you can visit the Frost Planetarium after hours for an incredible laser light show set to popular music.

Biscayne Bay Brewing Company
Further inland, approximately 20 minutes away, you’ll find Biscayne Bay Brewing Company which opened in 2014. Locals and travelers regularly pack the tap and barrel room, where you can share your port of call on their chalkboard and try their offerings, which include a saison, pale ale, porter, and IPA, along with limited releases. Biscayne Bay Brewing Company is open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.

Concrete Beach Brewery
Located in Wynwood, seven minutes away and just footsteps away from the famous walls is Concrete Beach Brewery. With a beautiful taproom and outdoor space to sip and savor, you can try their variety of brews, which includes Pilsner, a stout, a larger, and various ales. The brewery also offers tours seven days a week; at 6 PM Monday through Friday and during afternoons on the weekend.

J Wakefield Brewery
Another brewery in Wynwood, minutes away from the hotel is J Wakefield Brewery. Named after its creator, the brewery opened at the start of 2015 and like its neighborhood, is creative and showcases art on its walls, with Star Wars and comic murals. Hefeweizen, IPA, and smoke porter are just a few of the brews you can find on tap at the brewery, open seven days a week.

One of the most well-known breweries in Miami is Wynwood Brewing Company, less than 10 minutes away from our hotel.
