Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

Frost Science’s new location in Downtown Miami opens on May 8th.

After four years of hard work, one of Miami’s most well-loved museums will re-open in its new home here in Downtown Miami. In Miami’s Museum Park, you’ll now find one of the most incredible science museums in the world. If you’re curious about science, get ready to be amazed when the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science opens in just a few days!

On Monday, May 8th, the new Frost Science will open its doors officially for its grand opening. Visitors can look forward to exploring exhibits on water, the Everglades, lasers, flight, and more. One of the most incredible features of the museum is the three level aquarium showcasing the ecosystems of South Florida. What makes Frost Science so unique is that in addition to its aquarium, it also features a unique, state-of-the-art spherical planetarium with nearly 360-degree views.

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is opening just in time for Miami Museum Month. In addition to grand opening festivities and Member Night, there will be several events to enjoy. Beginning in June, First Fridays at Frost Science return, where you can visit the Frost Planetarium after hours for an incredible laser light show set to popular music.

The Hilton Miami Downtown is just an eight-minute walk to the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Visit our 1601 Lounge for a refreshing cup of Starbucks coffee before strolling along Biscayne Boulevard and learning all about science. We hope you have a blast exploring the new museum!
